Charlotte Colony

Charlotte Colony is nestled in the heart of the city's premiere area of Southpark. The Colony is being masterplanned by the renowned firm Cooper Carry to be one of Charlotte's destination for shopping, eating and living. The tract -- which is presently occupied with low-density housing -- will include a Whole Foods as well as ground level retail. The area will also house a large number of dwellings ranging in price and size. This will give the project an urban, village-like feel.

This gives a aerial view of Charlotte's Colony. This view shows how the masterplan is creating a new, urban-like destination for the city. In the foreground there is the area's first Whole Foods as well as additional anchored retail. In the background is a proposed residential/hotel tower that promises to be Charlotte's most unique address and the city's hippest place to stay.

This view shows the resdential density of the Colony. The materplan has created an urban-like village feel that will offer wide promenades and amenities for residents. The taller building is the proposed hotel/condo project. In the back ground is the city's first Whole Foods.
